Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Daughtry.

Hi Aaron, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hey so my name is Aaron, i go by AJ im a music producer and recording engineer from tuscaloosa,al. ive always had a passion for art and music growing up.
throughout the years i’ve produced and engineered for countless artists from all over

i first started in 2009 making beats while in high school and began to take it seriously.

im apart of a group with multiple brands named Only Ones. clothing, music, creatives

in 2023 we opened our first brick and mortar store in downtown tuscaloosa.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
not always smooth, growing up was okay. 2011 affected us do to the tornado but not anything to serious. i just saw alot early and i understood how to move in different environments. molding me

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
So right now im a full time music producer and engineer. i help artists that take their craft seriously. being the sound of the culture where im from. im most proud of my ability to create something from nothing with what i love to do. can’t complain. i think what sets me apart from others is my drive. job getting done regardless.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
i think taking major risk can be difficult or scary but you just have to have faith and believe you can do it. thats the cheat code, we have over 10 million streams independently, you never know how far you’ll go without taking it. especially if you have nothing to lose
