Check Out Pede P’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pede P.

Hi Pede, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I began creating music back in middle school as a hobby. That hobby turned into a passion in high school, and from there I created the record label / lifestyle brand Real Street Dreamers in 2014. My older brother was a music engineer and musician himself so I was really just a product of my environment at a young age. I wanted to create a voice for those kids who grew up in impoverished environments but wanted a life outside the streets. I’ve always been different from my peers but just like them in the same token. Im a walking contradiction.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, the path to where I am now has not been linear. There was a lot of obstacles and ups and downs along the way. From being broke, flunking out of college to even giving up hope at times i’ve learned that resilience is key when chasing your dreams. At one point I didn’t release a project for nearly 7 years. It’s important to STAY THE COURSE no matter what.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an independent recording artist by the name of Pede P from Birmingham Alabama I specialize in lyrical songwriting in the format of hip hop, r&b I’m most proud of my ability to create my own lane in a city where the music scene is saturated with repetitive sound. I’m Also proud what I’ve been able to accomplish whilst being completely independent without any outside help what so ever. What sets me apart from others is the love for the craft, I’ve studied the game my whole life and Im able to bring so many different flavors from all genres to create this sound never heard before.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I’m big on collaboration as long as it makes sense, I love talented artists creating new waves. Anyone who wants to work can hit me in my dm or email my manager.
