Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Gauldin.
Hi Anna, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
United for the Kingdom: How Anna Gauldin and G Rated Co Are Bringing the Body of Christ Together in the Creative Space
In an industry often defined by self-promotion and isolated competition, the Christian creative landscape is built on a different standard: laying aside division to advance one shared mission—Jesus and His Kingdom alone. Echoing the vision championed by figures like Howard Langford and the #UniteTheBody movement, founder, promoter, and event organizer Anna Gauldin is putting that principle into direct practice through G Rated Co.
The Testimony Behind the Vision
Gauldin’s journey into Christian Hip Hop (CHH) began during a season of deep personal transformation. After walking away from an abusive relationship and welcoming her daughter, she felt a profound spiritual conviction to leave secular music behind—a sacrifice that redirected her lifelong passion for music entirely toward the Kingdom.
Her transition into faith-based media accelerated at the 2023 Holy Smoke Festival in Nashville, Tennessee, where she served as a concert videographer and photographer. Immersed in the CHH scene, Gauldin quickly recognized a major systemic gap: while many creatives felt called to ministry, they lacked professional infrastructure to find work and connect safely beyond cold Instagram DMs.
Determined to bridge the divide between independent artists who lack resources and traditional labels that limit creative freedom, Gauldin set out to handle the operational tasks—giving artists the freedom to focus on the studio and the stage.
The Foundation: The 47 Spot and RepDaKing
A critical turning point in G Rated Co’s live execution came through the support of the RepDaKing team, Restoration Studios, and their warehouse venue, The 47 Spot. Hosting their very first live show at The 47 Spot unlocked recurring monthly event opportunities, serving as an incubator for Gauldin to hone her project management, team organization, and live coordination skills within the CHH landscape.
The Three Pillars of G Rated Co
Pillar 1: Community (The Discord Hub & Daily Media)
Originating as a digital fellowship for faith-driven creators to encourage one another, the Discord server quickly translated into real-world unity, with members gathering in person at festivals. The platform fuels a daily media rhythm—including the Sunday Scary Special, Topic Tuesdays, Wise Wednesdays (Auntie’s Corner), Crash Out Thursdays, and Feature Fridays—designed to spotlight emerging voices.
Pillar 2: Networking (The Gig Grid)
Positioned as the dedicated “Christian LinkedIn and Indeed,” The Gig Grid provides a secure directory where faith-based artists, audio engineers, videographers, and graphic designers can discover verified gigs, hire contractors, and collaborate safely.
Pillar 3: Management & Live Gatherings (The G Print)
Operating as a full-service agency, The G Print manages day-to-day artist operations—overseeing creative direction, social media strategy, music registration, and publishing split sheets. It also powers Gauldin’s live event coordination, organizing packed showcases that unite young adults in worship and community.
A United Circle of Faith and Artistry
Through live event production, management support, and collaborative platforms, Gauldin works directly alongside a growing collective of talent, including:
Peair
Coastside
J Whit
Aklesso
Lyric the Geenyus
VVS Rocky
Kay Milan
Jai Dowdy
Definitely D
By uniting live event promotion, professional networking tools, and day-to-day management under the banner of Christ, Gauldin and G Rated Co are proving that when Christian creatives build together, the Kingdom impact resonates far beyond the music industry.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Some of the struggles is being a single mom and feeling called to this space but very specifically and not really having the funds to do it, or just now realizing what im supposed to be doing and not going to school for it and having to teach myself and learn myself. But the Lord has been faithful and has provided every time.
We’ve been impressed with G Rated Co, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
