Hi 99, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I was a kid, music was always a way for me to explore and escape. It was a playground where my imagination could run wild. As someone who’s still a kid at heart, it only made sense that I’d want to create my own world.
So I grabbed whatever I could find and started making noise—banging on toys, experimenting with sounds, and discovering what made me happy. That curiosity eventually turned into a passion. Over time, I surrounded myself with people who shared that same love and appreciation for music.
Today, I get to perform with people I care about and create music that brings people together. Looking back, it all started with a kid who just wanted to play, imagine, and make sounds that felt like home.
Now, my goal is to create music that reminds people to believe in themselves, choose love over hate, and never be afraid to take a chance. If my songs can give someone even a moment of joy, hope, or freedom, then I’m doing exactly what that kid who fell in love with music always dreamed of.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Every journey comes with challenges, but I’ve always tried to look at them differently. Instead of asking, “Why can’t I?” I ask, “How can I?”
One of my biggest challenges was learning how to use DAWs. If I could tell you how difficult that was… there were plenty of moments where I wanted to pull my hair out. And don’t even get me started on finger drumming—you haven’t lived until you’ve hit a snare when you were aiming for something completely different. Those moments taught me patience.
My philosophy is that every obstacle is there to make you stronger. I believe everything happens for a reason, so instead of stressing over what’s in front of me, I focus on figuring it out. Every challenge has helped shape me into the artist and creator I am today.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an artist, songwriter, producer, and performer who loves creating experiences through music. I don’t like putting myself in one box or limiting myself to one genre. If a song needs R&B, pop, funk, house, hip-hop, or something completely different, I’m willing to go wherever the music takes me. At the end of the day, I just want to make music that people can truly connect with.
My mission is to bring fun back to music while inspiring people to become the best creators they can be. I want my music to encourage people to choose love over hate, believe in themselves, and never be afraid to take a chance. Those ideas are at the heart of everything I create.
What I’m most proud of is that I’ve built this journey alongside people I genuinely care about. From creating songs in the studio to performing them live, it’s been incredible to grow with a team that shares the same passion and vision. I’m also proud of how much I’ve taught myself—from learning DAWs and production to finger drumming, recording, and performing. Every new skill has allowed me to bring my ideas to life without limits.
I think what sets me apart is my curiosity. I’m always learning, always experimenting, and I’m never afraid to step outside of my comfort zone. Whether it’s the music, the live show, or the visuals, I’m always asking, “How can I make this experience even better?”
At the end of the day, I hope people don’t just hear my music—I hope they feel it. If someone finishes one of my songs with a little more joy, hope, confidence, or the courage to chase something they’ve been afraid to pursue, then I’ve accomplished exactly what I set out to do.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My biggest piece of advice is to stay curious and never stop learning. You don’t always have to wait for the perfect mentor to show up. Sometimes your best teacher is your own willingness to ask questions, make mistakes, and keep going.
When it comes to networking, I’ve found that genuine relationships matter more than trying to collect contacts. I’ve been fortunate to surround myself with people who share the same love and appreciation for music, and we’ve grown together by supporting one another. Those relationships have opened more doors than simply trying to meet as many people as possible.
If I could leave anyone with one piece of advice, it would be this: be someone people enjoy creating with. Your talent might get you in the room, but your attitude, work ethic, and how you treat people are what make them want to invite you back.
