Hi Kiara, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always had a love for all things beauty . First experimented with doing my own makeup in 2012. In 2015 I decided to take a leap of faith and posted my makeup services on Craigslist and found my first client there !
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not lol I’ve had my insecurities with the level of my skills along the way . I’ve also felt like over the years I had difficulty with my clientele growing and staying consistent . But I’ve learned that the beauty industry isn’t going anywhere , I just had to stay persistent and adjust .
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a makeup artist and esthetician . I specialize in soft glam, natural makeup , lash extensions and men’s facials.
I’m most proud of my ability to never give up throughout the years ! I know this is my calling and so whatever God has called me to do, he will surely provide !
What sets me apart from others is my ability to adapt to whatever environment I’m in and my ability to relatable to everyone ! The saying “I’ve never met a stranger “ rings true with me !
Any big plans?
My plans for the future is a full service beauty spa ! I look forward to expanding ! Let’s go global baby !
