Conversations with Rave The Gemini

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rave The Gemini.

Hi Rave, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It honestly started with me in 2020 during Covid times when I was given my first ring light for Christmas and I started doing content on TikTok. At first, it was just something fun to make people laugh and do and then I have such a love for music and culture. I wanted to become an artist and learn how to rap and make music but then the lanes changed when I was asked that I ever interviewed anybody or did a podcast because of my mindset in my opinions. I started off with author rock pie with inspire you, and then Lady transitioned over the Alabama hip-hop radio where I created my own case spin the Block podcast. And to say that I did not know what I was doing. I just started it and just learned as I went to now I season four of the black podcast and I also took a A&R position for a short amount of time, and also became an event coordinator with helping with certain events like soft competitions and also went into acting in comedy with Rachel that filmed the productions/socially aggregate where completed gets written and acting different characters that brings life and craziness to the scene

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It never was an easy road because at a young age I was diagnosed with type one diabetes, which ran on both sides of our family. I had the stage three kidney disease as well as high blood pressure as well, and sometimes it can get in the way of me doing the things I need to do but at the same time I don’t let it come for me or take over my life. I just require extra care and I like to show people that no matter what you go through what you have you can do whatever you want to do. Don’t let certain health risk stop you from it.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a jack of all trades and a master of few I know a little bit of everything and if I don’t know, I always will try and learn. I am a student at heart. My biggest thing is my personality because I make people feel comfortable to talk to and open up. I can make people laugh and I’m genuine in all of my weird and quirky antiques sometimes.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
If they want to work a Collab with me, they can email me a range thegemini.com or can find mail all of my social media platforms just to Google Rave The Gemini and everything will pop up. If they would like to donate to the cause of expanding Spin The Block podcast to make it better and create opportunities for the culture
