Today we’d like to introduce you to Carolina Garcia.
Hi Carolina, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
First of all, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is María Carolina García, better known as Carolina García. I’m from Caracas, Venezuela, and I studied Business Administration. Since high school, I participated in theater, music, and Venezuelan folk dance. Over the years, I learned by doing, working and taking part in real projects, alongside my career. I immigrated in 2016, and out of the need to reinvent myself, I kept asking, what can I do and how can I do it? In one of those jobs, the idea of producing entertainment came. And that’s how 360 Productions was born. I’m also passionate about photography, and I’ve developed both passions under one name. This year, independently and under my direction, we produced two pilot concerts in Huntsville. The first was in February, a tribute to a Latin American singer, and the second was a concert with a well-known Latin American artist. We are closing the year with a third concert that we are currently working on, this time in Nashville, Tennessee and we are already planning our 2027 agenda.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As an immigrant, I had to start from scratch. Every day is a challenge. I’m still learning about the culture, the language, interpersonal relationships, and adapting to constant changes. The road has definitely been an emotional roller coaster, but it’s what has brought me to where I am today, by the grace of God. You just have to keep going, trust, believe, and have faith.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about 360 Productions?
360 Productions is an emerging project based in Huntsville, Alabama, focused on Latin concerts. We are still building awareness, but I am confident that, in the not-too-distant future, we will be recognized for not just what we do, but how we do it. I am proud of the work we do because everything we do at 360 Productions is designed for the audience to enjoy and to live a unique experience.
Our vision goes beyond the Latino community. We want to share the richness of Latin music and culture with the broader community, including English-speaking audiences. We welcome everyone who enjoys great music, culture, and live entertainment, regardless of their background.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Yes, I have taken important risks. The first was immigrating to the United States and starting my life from scratch. The second was believing in an idea and deciding to create 360 Productions.” Every concert represents a risk because it involves a significant investment of time, effort, and resources. However, I believe that growth only happens when you dare to take the next step. Some risks bring great results, while others leave you with valuable lessons.
