Hidden Gems: Meet Jared Davis of Heirs Of Faith

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jared Davis.

Hi Jared, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Heirs Of Faith, was birthed out of my own testing. When I was a young teen. About thirteen years old. Been through a lot of hidden trials. Which forced me to pray and lean on God. He sustained me. Didn’t know why I was going through the trials I was going through at that time, and you know in an African American household your told that nothing is wrong with you. I dealt with a lot of pain, abandonment, rejection, depression, anxiety. Which in turn brought me to Christ at an early age. Fast forward to 2016 I was deployed. I was 20 years old, and throughout that deployment. My NCOs kept asking me “what are you going to do when you are back home.” I just replied “I’m going to college” just to get them off my back. With no meaning. Then one night I was laying in my bunk and I saw my aunt making Christain clothing. I called her and said “you making Christain clothes? I wish I can do that.” She replied “you can too nephew”. That right there fueled my desire to start a bussiness , but I knew it had to be something I loved, it had to be something with meaning. Hence forth birth Heirs Of Faith.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not. This has been a test of trial and error. I went dead broke starting this business. I was transitioning out of the military and I had no money. It’s like that saying “all I had was a dollar and a dream” my bank account was in the negatives before, and don’t get me started with high hopes for a drop and it doesn’t produce the way you want it or doesn’t produce at all. So you have to keep your faith strong in this. You don’t do this for the money. You do this cause you want to Glorify God, not yourself. I ask God multiple times is this what He wants me do and He keep telling me yes

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Heirs Of Faith?
Heirs of Faith is based off two scriptures but the main Scripture is James 1:2-5. It states

“Consider it great joy brothers and sisters when you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. “

And Romans 8:17 it states

“And if children also heirs- heirs of God and coheirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Heirs Of Faith is a brand that tells a testimony of endurance, patience, perseverance, and strength. Strength not from us but from Jesus Christ . To endure all the trials of life. To overcome and win!

I am most proud of the fact that my brand that it’s a tool that God uses to give me to evangelize, to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to give people hope in God.

Plus also, I love streetwear! Streetwear is a form of expression. God gave me the sense of style for my clothes not to be traditional or average. This is something unique.

How do you think about luck?
No luck all God’s favor
