Hi E. Nathan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story is not just that of an attorney; it’s the story of someone who grew up between two worlds and understands the struggles of the immigrant community. Being raised in a multicultural household allowed me to see firsthand how many Latino families come to this country seeking a better future but face legal barriers and discrimination.
Speaking Spanish and understanding the traditions, values, and challenges of the Hispanic community has given me a key advantage in my work as an attorney. I don’t just translate words; I understand the emotions, concerns, and aspirations of my clients because I share them too. My job is not just about providing legal representation; it’s about listening, understanding, and fighting alongside my clients to ensure their voices are heard and respected.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being an attorney is not just my profession; it is my life’s mission. I take great pride in knowing that through my firm, Abogados Centro Legal, we have changed the lives of thousands of people. Every client who achieves justice, every family who finds stability, every immigrant who receives the support they need to stay in this country is a reminder of why we do what we do.
It doesn’t matter if someone just arrived in this country or has lived here for years. If they have been in an accident, need help with their immigration status, or feel vulnerable in the legal system, we are here to help them.
Our commitment is to the entire Hispanic community in Alabama, and although they face difficulties with language barriers, immigration obstacles, and more, we pride ourselves on having a long history of delivering justice for them.
