Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Najee
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It’s hard to pinpoint a starting point for me. I can honestly say my life took a turning point after my second child was born. Although the most beautiful experience you can ever imagine, I suffered postpartum depression as many mothers do; followed by being diagnosed with Skin Cutaneous Lupus & Alopecia. Going through this experience I completely felt like my existence was wiped away, my complete existence. I lost myself, my job, my friends & every sense of security I had. It was hard, we’ve all faced hardships and setbacks; this one was just so hard. Out of that I started over. It took 2 years but I fought daily. I thought deeply about which direction I wanted my life to go in, especially for my children. I literally rebuilt myself up again to overcome obstacles & adversity with confidence. It was possible with the support of my husband, loved ones & a lot of prayer warriors.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Since I started my healing process, you really end up struggling with overcoming your own thoughts. It’s really you against you. Once you start to better yourself for you, you have a sense of genuine accomplishment. Everything you do will be genuine. This road has not been smooth but it’s getting there. Changing my mindset, saying yes to new opportunities, not speaking negativity, and manifesting a better life for myself & my family have proven to create continued success with limitless opportunities for the last two years. Creating genuine connections has been key to healthy relationships.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an entertainer, Business Owner, REALTOR & Medical Professional! I never thought I would say any of that but it’s true. I provide services that will get people moving, get them out of their comfort zone and dress them up to escape from reality and enjoy the moment! They just don’t know seeing how happy our clients are is what also keeps me going! I’ve designed over 200 custom screens from scratch. It’s definitely a specialty! Graphic design takes patience, skill & attention to detail. That same patience, skill, management and attention to detail has allowed me to expand our business; even allowing me to pour back into my community, help people find their dream homes & support them in having confidence to invest in themselves.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was a handful & extra but I always cared about people, how they feel & what they are going through. I grew up outside, and spent many summers building, creating & going on adventures. This really reflects on who I am today. I’m adventurous, I’m extra with that a great entertainer, mood lifter & I’m who people can lean on during hard times. Growing up has taught me to be genuine, work hard, change your mindset & never give up.
