Meet Mauri & Claire Robinson of Ridgewood Strategies

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mauri & Claire Robinson.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Co-Founders, Claire Sands Robinson and Mauri Robinson have a combined 30 years of project management, strategic planning, operations, and event coordination experience in various industries, including Banking, Non-Profit, Logistics, and Education.

In the Spring of 2025, they both were laid off from their jobs and took time to reevaluate their careers. While enjoying the transitional period, a national non-profit CEO approached them to assist with coordinating the organizations national governing board retreat. In the midst of planning, the idea for Ridgewood Strategies was birth.

Since its inception in August 2025, Ridgewood Strategies has worked with several national non-profits, local area chambers of commerce, small businesses, and elected governmental officials.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Though our business is less than a year old, we have made tremendous strides with the development of our client base and our organizational structure. And although it’s a blessing to work with your spouse, a challenge has been managing running a company, our marriage, raising our kids, and staying balanced. It is an ever evolving dynamic that we face together.

We’ve been impressed with Ridgewood Strategies, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

A surprising tidbit is that our friends, family, and associates have said for years that we should start a business together. We were not doubtful in our individual and collective capabilities, but we struggled initially if this would actually work.

Our faith carried us to take a giant leap and we have not looked back!
