Today we’d like to introduce you to Boris Amado.
Hi Boris, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I originally started in entertainment working for George Schlatter. He created of Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In back in the 1960s… George is a total television, legend juggernaut.
I started working for George as a production assistant and work my way to tape librarian/post production coordinator’s assistant. 1995-2001
Worked on shows like: Sinatra’s 80th birthday celebration. American Film Institute honors Harrison Ford and Dustin Hoffman. And the American Comedy Awards 10th through the 13th.
But now I am an author and a screenwriter.
I also create concepts for comic books and animated television shows.
Concepts like: Spray Saints, graphic novel, published by Sumerian comics
And, The SophistiCats, animated television show created by Trew Love
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The struggles along the way are simple but hard. Keeping yourself motivated is a major factor in entertainment, because if you don’t believe in your own projects, nobody else will.
You have to think of your projects as the greatest thing ever invented in the history of humanity!
Because if you don’t look at your projects that way… then who will?
You have to be your own audience first, and then the producers become your next audience, because, in order to get your project before an ocean of faces, you have to win the producers first.
And if you don’t like your work, they won’t like it either. The death of a project.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My recent publishing was a science fiction book called “The Genesis Cube”
A book about the great flood of ancient times,, but Noah in my story, doesn’t build a wooden ark… my Noah builds a black cube of unimaginable power..
I was thinking outside the box, but at the same time… I put humanity’s survivors inside a black cube.
Oh well, that’s what happens when I think outside the box, we go back into it.
The Genesis Cube is free to download on Amazon Kindle.
Been also working with the Artist, DeeDee Reed, to bring her Orphan Bears project to film and animation…
…but I’ve also been working with British Director, Desiree Faust, on an experimental, dream sequence, psychological type of film.
I try to Keep creatively busy and in a constant state of gratitude.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I never give up, and I have the resilience of a scorpion.
I can survive any catastrophe, completely unharmed, and I walk between the raindrops to avoid getting wet
With God on my side, Jesus in my heart, and the Holy Spirit guiding my every step, I fear no evil and can succeed with everything I set my mind to.
Peace and amen!
