Today we’d like to introduce you to Romon Walker.
Romon, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I grew up in Mobile, Alabama, where basketball was my first passion. My dream was to play in the NBA or become a coach. My family taught me that everything is mental, to never give up, and that successful people fail more times than most people ever try. That mindset still drives me today.
One of the biggest turning points in my life came after high school. I didn’t earn the basketball scholarship I wanted, but I walked on at Bishop State Community College before transferring to Alabama A&M to study engineering. I’ve always loved math, science, and solving problems, so engineering felt like the right fit.
While working as an engineer, I learned how businesses operate and the importance of systems and structure. At the same time, I realized I wanted the freedom to build something of my own. I started by selling sneakers, creating content, and eventually launched Yalvish as a creative outlet. I genuinely enjoy building businesses.
Moneitis came from my lifelong nickname, “Mone.” I’m naturally a reserved person, but Moneitis became the more creative, expressive side of me and the brand through which I could share my journey and inspire others.
One lesson that shaped me came from basketball. After years of hard work, I broke my ankle just as I was reaching an important point in my career. It taught me that while you can’t control every outcome, you can control your effort. Since then, my faith has helped me trust God’s plan and stay positive through every season.
Today, I’m focused on building a business empire through content creation, Yalvish, and future ventures. My goal is simple: inspire people to chase their dreams with discipline and consistency. Whether through Moneitis or Yalvish, I want to show that success comes from staying true to yourself, trusting the process, and never giving up. Twenty years from now, I hope people remember me as someone who motivated them to pursue the life they wanted.

I’m a content creator, entrepreneur, and founder of the streetwear brand Yalvish. Through Moneitis, I create lifestyle, fashion, and automotive content that allows me to combine my passions while inspiring others to be creative and pursue their own goals. Whether I’m putting together outfits, sharing my experiences with cars, or documenting my entrepreneurial journey, I want my content to be both entertaining and motivating.
I’m most proud of building a community that has grown alongside me. Seeing people support my journey, engage with my content, and find inspiration in what I create is more rewarding than any number or milestone.
I think what sets me apart is my personality and creativity. I enjoy approaching content differently and putting my own spin on ideas instead of simply following trends. My focus isn’t just on creating content that looks good—it’s on building brands and creating something that people genuinely connect with.
Over the next several years, my goal is to continue growing both Moneitis and Yalvish while constantly refining my craft. I believe there’s always room to improve, and I’m excited to keep learning, creating, and inspiring people along the way.
